- Higher in beta-carotene, Vitamin E, Vitamin B, and riboflavin
- Higher in CLA (conjugated linoleic acid – a potential cancer fighter)

While in Argentina with the Manitoba Forage Council and Manitoba Grassfed Beef Association in February of 2008, I (Jonathan) saw many ranches where cattle didn’t even get a whiff or a sniff of grain, and, in fact almost all beef in Argentina is grass-finished! What I saw in Argentina really confirmed the direction we were heading with our Angus herd back here in Canada—smaller frame scores, voluminous animals with the capacity to finish on forages alone.
